We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our IT company’s operations, growth, and innovation in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will define the company’s strategic direction, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive the delivery of outstanding products and services. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in the IT industry, expertise in emerging technologies, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the company’s mission, values, and long-term goals.
- Oversee daily operations and manage senior leadership teams across product development, engineering, customer support, and other core functions.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to foster growth and innovation.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the organization’s financial health and sustainability.
- Guide the company’s product roadmap, focusing on competitive positioning and integration of emerging technologies.
- Represent the company at industry events, public forums, and in interactions with clients and regulatory bodies.
A minimum of 10 years in an executive or senior management role within the IT industry, either in Canada or internationally, demonstrating a track record of strategic planning and team leadership. At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role within Canada.
Comprehensive knowledge of the IT sector, including emerging technologies and business operations. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
